Throughout the construction phase, Sundt co-located on site with the owner’s representative, inspector and architect.  To enhance collaboration, Sundt created a building information model (BIM) from the designer’s 2D CAD drawings.

·         The new facility was turned over one (1) month earlier than planned.

·         The change order rate was 2.7%, and due almost entirely to owner initiated enhancements.

·         The project is pending LEED Platinum Certification from the USGBC.

 

This is a new 87,250-square-foot, three-level classroom building for the Sweetwater Union High School District. In addition to new classroom space, the facility includes administrative offices, a library, theatre and other support spaces.
