This is a 61,400-square-foot, two-story fire station and 200-space parking garage built in downtown Tucson. It includes administrative offices, a six-stall apparatus bay, storage areas, a firefighter memorial and museum as well as a pedestrian greenway with a gazebo for outdoor concerts. The landmark facility replaced Tucson’s Fire Station No. 1, which was also built by Sundt for the City of Tucson nearly 40 years ago.
