Sundt's work included mixing, placing and finishing a new taxiway, aircraft parking apron, and runway extension. The project consisted of approximately 21,000 cubic yards of concrete mixed and placed in 20 days. The site is located on an existing, 450,000-acre live bombing/training base in a remote region of Utah. The airfield provides aircraft carrying live ordinance a place to land in an unpopulated area in the event of systems or equipment failure.
