Sundt Foundation Awards Over $16,000 in Grants to Irvine Nonprofits

IRVINE, Calif. (March 27, 2024) – The Sundt Foundation recently awarded $16,470 in grants to three area charities.

“Our employee-owners are proud to partner with these essential nonprofits,” said Rachel Perez, the Sundt Foundation’s Irvine region board member. “We are inspired by the work they do to serve our community.”

Kheurt received $5,490 to support its mission. The organization empowers survivors of human trafficking by providing education, mentorship and long-term employment opportunities in a safe and supportive environment. .

Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County was awarded $5,490 to continue its role in improving the lives of children and adults. The organization provides support and assistance to the underprivileged and unhoused, helping them regain stability and hope.

The Norooz Clinic Foundation received a $5,490 grant to support its “Affordable Therapy for All” (AFTA) program. The program improves the lives of disadvantaged adults with mental illness by providing access to treatment.
