Sundt Foundation Awards $13,000 to El Paso Nonprofits

El Paso, Texas. (August 11, 2023) – The Sundt Foundation recently awarded $13,000 in grants to three El Paso-area charities.

“Our Sundt Foundation members in El Paso are committed to supporting adults and families in need in our community,” said Joseph Riccillo, Sundt Foundation Vice President and El Paso regional board member. “We are pleased to award our second quarter grants to these nonprofits in support of their hard work and contribution to El Paso.”

Reynolds Home and City of Socorro Community Initiative each received a $4,000 grant. Every Little Blessing Preschool received a $5,000 grant.

Reynolds Home provides temporary emergency shelter and helps families transition to stable home environments with their AfterCare program.

City of Socorro Community Initiative’s grant will be used to support artifact collection and storage as the Bracero Museum is developed. The Bracero program was the United States’ largest single, temporary foreign worker program from 1942 to 1964. Countless men returned to the United States after the program ended, becoming U.S. residents and citizens, and many in the region trace their origin to a bracero.

Every Little Blessing Preschool is a 501(c)(3), early intervention preschool for students with and without disabilities. They provide early childhood programming for ages 12 months to five years, giving children space to explore their environment, make connections and build peer relationships.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to charities in El Paso that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application and review process led by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
