Clint Sundt Promoted to Senior Vice President and District Manager

TEMPE, Ariz. (July 24, 2023) – Sundt Construction recently announced the promotion of Clint Sundt to senior vice president and district manager overseeing mining and special projects.

“Clint has been serving Sundt’s mining clients for over 30 years and has built a reputation of being a trusted partner to deliver some of the most challenging mining projects in Arizona,” said Sundt Construction Industrial Group President Cade Rowley. “This promotion is well-deserved, and I’m confident Clint will continue to drive success for our group in his new role.”

Sundt has held numerous roles within the company and is a descendent of its founder, Mauritz Martinsen Sundt.  Since joining the construction company in 1994, Sundt has worked on several industrial projects including water and wastewater projects, mining projects, and renewable energy projects ranging from $7 million to over $500 million. He most recently served as a Regional Vice President for the Industrial Group’s mining and water and wastewater sectors.

Sundt also served in the United States Army for 25 years before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He earned his bachelor’s degree in construction engineering with a minor in industrial engineering from Montana State University. Sundt is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and Design-Build Certified Professional and a Certified Professional Constructor. Active in the construction industry, he is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers, Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration and a board member for the Arizona Mining Association. He also serves on various nonprofit organizations including Homes for Wounded Warriors and CDT Kids.
