IRVINE, Calif. (April 16, 2019) – Darren Vieth and Marcelo Siniscalchi have joined Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) in its Irvine office. 
“Both Darren and Marcelo bring a unique skillset to our Irvine office,” said Robert Stokes, Vice President and Irvine Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group. “Each will make an immediate impact on our projects and our preconstruction efforts.”
Vieth will serve as Project Safety Manager for the company’s Cal Poly Pomona student housing project in Pomona, California. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, in particular with education, office buildings and government projects. Vieth has earned several certifications, including OSHA 30 and OSHA 40 hazardous waste.
Siniscalchi joins the Building Group as a senior estimator. He arrives in his new role after serving in a similar capacity for Sundt’s Industrial Group. Siniscalchi brings over 12 years of experience, including eight years in estimating. He has knowledge in civil, concrete, structural steel, commercial and environmental divisions, from conceptual estimates (design-build) to hard bids. He is a licensed Engineer in Training by the Board of Engineers.
Sundt has over 70 years of project work throughout the state of California. Currently, the company is working on a new Mathematics and Science building at Coast Community College District’s Golden West College and recently broke ground on the new Science, Engineering and Math (SEM) building and Veterans Resource Center (VRC) on the Cypress College campus. Sundt has offices in Irvine, San Diego and Sacramento.
