Sundt Expands Its Southern California Pre-Construction Team

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 20, 2015) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently added Ken McQuarrie, Tyler Scott and Jon Palmer to its Southern California preconstruction team.

McQuarrie, a preconstruction project manager, brings to Sundt nearly 30 years of estimating and preconstruction experience. In his initial assignment, McQuarrie will manage Sundt’s Irvine preconstruction team, where he is responsible for providing preconstruction and estimating oversight and leadership.

Scott, a senior estimator, joins Sundt with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Also working out of Sundt’s Irvine office, Scott immediately joins the teams constructing the California Baptist University Event Center in Riverside, California, and the Student Services Center at Coast Community College’s Golden West Campus in Huntington Beach, California. In his role, Scott is responsible for managing the estimating efforts for these projects.

Palmer, an estimator II, comes to Sundt after working as an estimator and project engineer for one of Sundt’s leading Southern California competitors. A military veteran, Palmer spent nearly 10 years in the United States Navy Construction Battalion and has constructed and managed projects all over the world. He is working out of Sundt’s San Diego office as part of the team finalizing preconstruction on the California State University Channel Islands – Student Housing Phase 3 project in Camarillo, California.
