Sundt Construction Expands Its California District

SAN JOSÉ, Calif. (June 13, 2014) –Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently added two new team members to its newly established San José office — Ryan Drummond, hired as senior project engineer, and Paul Barnhart, a senior project superintendent who transferred from Sundt’s Federal Division.

Drummond comes to Sundt after spending the last eight years as a senior business manager and project controller for one of the nation’s leading engineering companies. He will immediately join the Maple Street Correctional Center team in San Mateo, where he will be the technical source of information for the project. In his role, Drummond will provide expertise in construction cost accounting and contract administration.

Barnhart, a Sundt team member since 2000, comes to Sundt’s California District with more than 30 years of construction experience. His extensive knowledge in federal and government housing projects will play a vital role in his new position, as he will immediately join the new San José State University Campus Village Phase II housing project team.

Sundt expanded its physical presence in the Bay area late last year by opening a San José location to enhance services for clients and industry partners in the Silicon Valley.
