Sundt Construction Promotes Two Senior Estimators

SAN ANTONIO (April 22, 2014) – Sundt Construction, Inc. promoted two members from its San Antonio office. Paul Castro and Jon McKelvain received promotions as Sundt continues to collaborate with local leaders on future building projects and establish a valued presence in the community.

Former senior estimator McKelvain is now a preconstruction project manager. Before joining Sundt in 2012, McKelvain worked for another construction company and was a lieutenant in the United States Navy. He volunteers with organizations like First Baptist Church San Antonio, SAMMinistries and the Sundt Foundation.

“I look forward to continuing my career with Sundt and the opportunity to make a difference in the community,” McKelvain said.

Castro, a former senior estimator, was also promoted to preconstruction project manager. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field and graduated from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. Castro enjoys coaching Little League in his free time.
