A webcam allows the public to see how construction is progressing on the new terminal building at Wichita Falls Municipal Airport.

For construction buffs, there’s nothing better than a jobsite tour…but a webcam comes close. This one provides round-the-clock views of one of Sundt’s current aviation construction projects, which began last September at Wichita Falls Municipal Airport in Wichita Falls, Texas.

With joint venture partner Trinity Hughes, Sundt is constructing a new terminal building at the airport to accommodate the city’s growth and service its increasing number of passengers. The new 52,000-square-foot terminal building will have two gates, allowing the airport to add an additional air carrier in the near future. It will also feature modern jet bridges for passenger boarding and deplaning, expanded space for passenger ticketing, baggage processing, restrooms, passenger screening, administrative offices, airside apron paving, a rental car facility and parking.

The $22 million project will be complete in time for the 2014 holiday traveling season.
