Subcontractor Diversity Seminar on Jan. 31 Will Reach Out to Small and Disadvantaged Businesses

Sundt CFO Kevin Burnett addresses attendees at a recent subcontractor diversity event.

Martin Luther King, Jr., Day is a great time to pause and recognize the importance of diversity in our business relationships.  When we extend our network of partners to include the numerous small, minority-owned, women-owned and other disadvantaged businesses in our communities, we all benefit – especially our clients, who want the best possible teams collaborating on their projects.

Sundt takes its commitment to subcontractor diversity very seriously. We have a comprehensive diversity plan in place, and we organize and participate in a number of events and programs throughout the year to help small/minority businesses that are interested in working with Sundt.

One such event that’s coming up on January 31 is a Subcontractor/Supplier Diversity Educational Event, which we like to think of as “a networking session that goes beyond the exchange of business cards.” Attendees can expect:

  • Training and education on industry hot topics
  • Access to Sundt’s internal experts to learn best practices
  • Proactive approaches to learning how to conduct business with Sundt
  • Proactive partnerships with potential owners and certifying and contracting agencies

The event will be held from 9:30 am until 3:00 pm on January 31 at Sundt’s Tempe office, 2620 S. 55th Street.  Seating is limited to 45 people, so please contact us today to reserve your place. Call Diana Nunez at (800) 280-3000 X 3189, or send her an email at donunez@www.sundt.com.
