Sundt Employee-Owner Amber Simonson Joins Texas District

FORT WORTH, Texas (September 26, 2018) – Amber Simonson has joined the Texas District of the Building Group for Sundt Construction, Inc. She will be based out of the Fort Worth office and serve as the manager for a project in Denton, Texas. Amber Simonson

“We are happy to have Amber transfer into our Fort Worth office,” said Eric Hedlund, Sundt’s Senior Vice President and Texas District Manager for the company’s Building Group. “Amber will bring considerable experience and expertise from her previous work on projects in California to our North Texas office.”

Simonson arrives in North Texas after four years working for the Building Group’s California District. She worked on higher education, government and commercial projects within the San Diego region during this time. Prior to coming to Sundt, Simonson worked for another contractor on transportation, healthcare and hospitality projects in Southern California.

A 13-year veteran of the construction industry, as project manager Simonson will be responsible for leading the entire jobsite team and meeting the project’s delivery goals.

Sundt has 50 years and nearly $2 billion of project work throughout Texas with offices in Fort Worth, Irving, San Antonio and El Paso.
