SAN ANTONIO (July 24, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added Sean Christopherson as a Project Engineer to its San Antonio office.
Christopherson will serve as an engineer for the CPS Headquarters project in San Antonio. He will be the technical source of information for the project and serve as a liaison for owners, architects, subcontractors and suppliers.
“Sean has a distinguished resume serving in the Untied States Army for over 10 years, some of that time with the United States Army Corps of Engineers as a project engineer,” Sundt Senior Project Manager Ben Martin said. “That is where Sean got to know Sundt and we got to know him. Upon his separation from the Army, Sean reached out to Sundt because he was impressed with the way we ran our project. Sean proved himself to be an exceptional leader while in the Army and he is a great addition to the Sundt team.”
Christopherson joins the company after serving as a senior project engineer with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers. He managed a six-personnel project office providing quality assurance, quality control checks and contract compliance of military construction projects valued over $120 million in the Monterey, Calif. area.
Christopherson, a former captain in the United States Army, holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technologies and management from Illinois Institute of Technology. He earned two master’s degrees, one in engineering management from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a second in systems engineering from Naval Postgraduate School.
