How does your military experience make you a better Sundt employee-owner?

The military teaches you some very important skills such as teamwork, dedication and leadership. The military taught me how to adapt to changing situations as well as problem-solve quickly and creatively.

Why is it so important for a company like Sundt to hire veterans?

The military trains people for complex tasks. Veterans tend to have a high focus on safety and quality due to the types of jobs they had in the military i.e., ordnance handling, flight deck, pilots, etc.

What qualities do veterans possess that make them good employees?

Leadership and teamwork skills, a strong work ethic, structure, discipline, resiliency and loyalty.

How often do meet or work with fellow veterans with the company?

I met a lot of fellow veterans on Veterans Day 2014 when Sundt had a flag ceremony at one of our Phoenix projects. It was great to see so many of us with Sundt!

What would you say to veterans who want to work for Sundt?

I would tell them that Sundt believes in the same values that we learned in the military such as teamwork, dedication and a strong work ethic.
