SALT LAKE CITY (March 13, 2024) – The Sundt Foundation is pleased to award a total of $15,000 in grants to three nonprofits in the Salt Lake City area. Utah Infertility Resource Center, Jewish Family Service and Salt Lake City Police Foundation have each been awarded $5,000 to support impactful programs addressing critical needs in the community.

“Our foundation members are proud to support these organizations that play a vital role in meeting diverse needs within our community,” said Jasen Bennie, the Sundt Foundation’s Salt Lake City region board member.

Utah Infertility Resource Center (UIRC) received $5,000 to continue its mission of providing support programs for individuals and couples facing infertility challenges. UIRC offers a range of free or low-cost programs, including wellness events, educational podcasts, individual mentoring, support groups, counseling and annual conferences.

Jewish Family Service was awarded $5,000 to support its comprehensive programs that provide anything from basic needs to emergency financial assistance and mental health services.

Salt Lake City Police Foundation’s grant will be directed toward its work of engaging youth and young adults with law enforcement through initiatives like the Explorer Program, Pay-It-Forward events, holiday events, Promising Youth summer program, First Tee Golf Program and Weekend Hoops SLCPD Community Basketball League. These programs contribute to building positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.

Grants are awarded quarterly through an application and review process overseen by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
