SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2023) – The Sundt Foundation recently awarded $18,900 in grants to three San Diego nonprofits.
“Our employee-owners are happy to support these organizations and their work improving our community,” said Soula Wynne, the Sundt Foundation’s area regional representative.
The Boys & Girls Club of North County received $6,300 toward its mission to serve youth members in its daily club programs. The majority of the organization’s members are low-income and at high risk for health issues. The nonprofit works to improve the overall health of its members by increasing social support through healthy food and nutrition education and health literacy.
The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego was awarded $6,300 in support of its goal to share contemporary art with all audiences. The museum displays a high-quality collection of artwork across two campuses in La Jolla and downtown San Diego.
The Rosie Network received a $6,300 grant toward its mission to build stronger military families through entrepreneurial programs and support services that empower military spouses, transitioning service members and veterans.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local San Diego charities that support disadvantaged members of the community. Nonprofits are selected through an application and review process led by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
