PHOENIX (March 23, 2022) – Sundt Construction has recently started work on the Vida Center at the Royal Oaks Retirement Community in Sun City, Ariz. This will be Sundt’s sixth time working with the retirement community.

“We are happy to continue working on this community,” said Tucker Macon, Sundt’s project director. “We have been working with this community for over a decade, and it has been very rewarding to see it improve throughout the years.”

The Vida center is a state-of-the-art medical and health-related services center. The 9,100-square-foot project will feature physical, occupational, speech and hydro-therapy services for residents. The facility also includes medical examination and treatment rooms, a salon, locker rooms and showers.

For more than two decades, Sundt has built the full spectrum of modern senior living communities throughout California and Arizona. The company’s innovative approaches have helped create safe, healthful communities with an understanding of the details that impact efficiency and care delivery. Sundt has been shaping the Royal Oaks campus for just as long, including its award-winning construction of the Friendship House and its current work on the Inspirata Pointe at Royal Oaks expansion. The newest neighborhood on the campus will add villas and apartment homes as well as new dining and lifestyle options for residents.

Sundt has been building critical infrastructure across Arizona for more than 90 years. Headquartered in Tempe, the company continually ranks in the top five of ENR Southwest’s Top Contractors. Recently, the company completed Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass, the Canopy by Hilton Tempe and the award-winning Gilbert Road Light Rail Extension.
