Sundt is pleased to announce its first federal construction project at Fort Campbell, Ky.: a $21.5 million Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) barracks that will accommodate up to 244 soldiers. The design-build project will feature two, 45,000-square-foot buildings containing two-bedroom, one-bathroom units similar to nearby civilian apartment complexes. Both buildings will be constructed of wood frame with masonry exterior and standing seam metal roofs.

Sundt’s contract also involves the construction of supporting facilities and infrastructure across the 4.4-acre site including utilities, paving, sidewalks, information systems, storm drains and site improvements. Construction will begin this month; the project will be complete in December 2013.
