As a contractor known for innovation, problem-solving and pioneering technology, our work across the Intermountain region has expanded and improved infrastructure to support a growing population.

INFRASTRUCTURE FOR COMMUNITIES AND COMMERCE

Since our beginnings, Sundt has been constructing the infrastructure necessary for community growth and prosperity.

This is at the heart of our purpose: to build environments where our clients, employee-owners and communities prosper. It’s what drives our success on projects like the award-winning I-215 and Redwood Road project, recognized as a 2020 Best Project by Engineering News-Record, Mountain States and the 2019 Urban Highway Project of the Year by AGC Utah.

RISING TO THE CHALLENGE

With our extensive self-perform capabilities, we maintain greater control over schedule, safety and quality. A standout example of Sundt’s expertise in planning, management and self-perform concrete paving, Utah’s Michael Army Airfield project included on-site central mix production as well as placing and finishing for a new, 11,000-linear-foot runway, multiple taxiways and two aircraft parking aprons. The project was completed in just 238 days despite several stops to accommodate unscheduled emergency landings (a primary use of the airfield) and was honored with the Excellence in Paving, Commercial Service & Military Airports award from the Utah Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association.
