MORE THAN 125 YEARS OF INNOVATION

Sundt has been bringing creative solutions to the construction industry’s most challenging problems for over 125 years. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown to become one of the nation’s largest and most innovative general contractors. Above all else, we are builders, and our work has served to push our industry and our nation forward. The Sundt 125 commemorates standout projects spanning from our company’s founding to today, including Launchpad 39A in Cape Canaveral, Florida, the Reunion Tower building core in Dallas, Texas, the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, and London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

TRANSFORMING OUR WORLD SINCE 1890

Sundt was founded in 1890 in Las Vegas, New Mexico by Mauritz Martinsen Sundt, a Norwegian carpenter who immigrated to America to build a better life for himself and his family. Ever since, in times of growth and recession, we’ve upheld the values of hard work and giving back. Read our history from 1890 to 2010 in the Sundt History Book.
