Project Overview
Sundt is partnering with the Idaho Transportation Department to upgrade a critical junction along I-84 in Heyburn, Idaho. This $90 million design-bid-build project focuses on replacing aging infrastructure and enhancing regional mobility through the construction of a new partial-offset diamond interchange.
The scope includes the full replacement of multiple I-84 structures spanning the Eastern Idaho Railroad and State Highway 24. In addition, the team is constructing a new overcrossing bridge and realigning existing on/off-ramps to improve traffic flow and safety. These improvements will support the growing transportation demands in Southern Idaho while ensuring long-term durability and resilience for this growing region.
