If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and why?

Definitely the ability to fly or teleport! I’ve spent a lot of time on the road over my career and I would love to be able to get wherever I need to go without having to go through an airport or down a highway. I don’t actually mind traveling at all, but it would be a nice superpower to have in the middle of those large traffic jams or flight delays.

Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?

My father was a carpenter who worked for a contractor that built custom houses. He used to take me to work with him during the summer when I was a kid, and I got to see how homes were laid out, and how they really came out of the ground from nothing to be these amazing structures. It was cool to be able to drive around with my dad and see the different houses that he had a significant part of constructing.

What is your favorite place in the world?

Florida.  I absolutely love it here. We have beaches, boating, great fishing and hunting, big city life, deep woods and swamps, and long country roads. Florida has the Florida Keys, Disney, NASA, and some of the best college and professional sports in the nation—football, basketball, baseball, and hockey national and world championships. But, I love this state the most because it’s where I was born, it’s where my family lives, and its where I still hang out with more than a dozen friends I’ve known for 40 years or more. I’ve lived in other states, traveled all over our nation and to other countries, but I always feel most at home when I’m in Florida.
