Tell us about your favorite KAPBCS moment.
My favorite KAPBCS moment is more of a summary of my first few months. The fully engaged, intentional collaboration has been a refreshing new beginning for me. Right away I was able to see the value that employee-ownership brings to the team.
Tell us about your favorite Sundt project.
I am going to say that my favorite project is going to be the first one I help procure. Sundt has a history of really cool projects. Launch Pad 39A at Cape Canaveral is up there for the history, and locally, the Sellwood Bridge project has to be at the top of the list.
If you could have any super power, what would you choose and why?
As a dad of three kids that are all super involved in sports and extracurricular activities, I would have to go with being in multiple places at once. However, each iteration has shared memories so nothing gets missed.
What movie or television character do you relate to most and why?
I would probably say Phil Dunphy from Modern Family. He is a hard-working professional that is also very present in his wife and the lives of his three kids while trying to be a “cool dad.” But, he isn’t always seen that way from the kids’ point of view.
