I remain impressed with our concrete team’s performance for a confidential client. One of their best achievements was recovering from the discovery of a significant design flaw that almost cost three months of schedule while steel columns had to be shipped off site and re-fabricated. Instead of waiting for others, our team proposed an all-concrete solution to replace the defective steel design. We sprang into action immediately and worked 24/7 for 10 weeks straight to implement it – finishing a week ahead of what we originally projected. It was truly impressive.

I have a soft spot for the Boeing Tech Port at Port San Antonio in Texas. It was a wonderfully unique project that we helped develop, design andbuild. The Port’s vision for building an e-sports center and tech museum as a way to draw in the future cyber defense workforce was ahead of its time, and I rarely have seen customers with the same tenacity and foresight as Jim Perschbach had in putting that together. That project was a lot of fun.
