If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and why?

Mind Reading: If I could have any superpower, I’d choose the ability to read minds. Imagine how much easier life would be—I’d always know exactly what clients expect, making it easier to build trust and secure new opportunities. In both personal and professional situations, I’d be able to anticipate people’s thoughts and needs, helping me be more understanding and proactive in every interaction.

Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?

From a young age, I was fascinated by residential construction. Growing up near Chicago, I watched my parents take on home renovation projects, like adding a small bathroom in the basement. I remember asking if I could install the laminate flooring—and to my surprise, it turned out pretty well for a teenager with no prior experience. I was also inspired by family members in Puerto Rico who built homes there.
Despite that early interest, I didn’t initially plan to pursue construction. I studied computer programming, thinking that was my path. However, after entering the workforce, I had the opportunity to work for a construction company, and what started as a temporary role quickly grew into a long-term career. I discovered a passion for the industry and have never looked back. Now, over 20 years later, I’m still energized by this dynamic and ever-evolving field and grateful for the journey that brought me here.
