Tell us about your favorite KAPBCS moment.
A favorite moment of mine is when we celebrated one million man hours worked at the Salt Lake City New Water Reclamation Facility (SLC NWRF). This would not have been possible without the talented team working on this project.
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and why?
The superpower I would like to possess is being a weather wizard. In construction, weather affects the schedule. Wind, rain and snow have all been a challenge here in Salt Lake City.
What movie or television character do you relate to most and why?
Jason Bourne is the television character I relate to. This man is tough and unstoppable and finishes the task at hand.
Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?
I chose the construction industry because I have always enjoyed the challenge of constructing a variety of structures and facilities. It is rewarding to be able to be part of a project either from the ground up or retrofitting existing structures, knowing it will have a positive impact on the community.
Share a couple of your favorite hobbies.
I enjoy spending my free time with my wife and two daughters. I also enjoy reading a good book, and taking my Saint Bernard, Moose, and labrador, Gus, for walks.
What is your favorite place in the world?
My favorite place in the world is my home in Utah. I enjoy relaxing in my backyard and taking in the views of the Wasatch Mountains. Hawaii is a close second.
