Jim Bergin brings over 35 years of multi-disciplined project management experience in industrial and power construction. Throughout his career, Jim’s leadership and effective management of large project teams and hundreds of skill trades have resulted in delivering projects on time and within budget. With over $1 billion in power projects experience, Jim has served as a vice president on several large-scale power projects for several energy municipalities and a Fortune 500 company. Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Delhi University in upstate New York.

What movie or television character do you relate to most and why?

I like the John Wick film series. The movies are a perfect blend of action and style. Each film takes you to some of the world’s most beautiful cities, showcasing their iconic buildings and streetscapes that aligns well with my passion for global travel.

Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?

The construction industry is in high demand offering individuals a rapid growth trajectory in both career path and financial rewards. Construction empowers an individual to take direct control over their career paths and the speed at which they want to advance.

Share a couple of your favorite hobbies.

Two of my favorite hobbies are Formula 1 racing and European travel. The two really complement each other, especially with so many iconic racetracks located across Europe. Each race offers a perfect opportunity to explore a new country and/or city.
