Tell us about your favorite Sundt project.
I actually have two. The first is any NEXT project win—I enjoy the process of assembling a team and developing a winning strategy. But my favorite project I’ve been a part of is the Student Housing Project at Cal Poly Humboldt. It was an incredible experience working with a fantastic client who truly understands design-build, and our Sundt team overcame the challenges of delivering in a tough region. They exceeded expectations and set a new bar for success.
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and why?
Time travel would sure make construction projects a bit easier.
Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?
Initially, I was drawn to construction because of the tangible results—seeing a project come to life. Over time, my perspective has evolved. Now, what drives me most is the impact I can have on the industry, particularly in developing and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
