With over 30 years of experience in mining and industrial construction, Brian brings extensive knowledge leading complex, large-scale projects across the Southwest to his role as Vice President Mining/Heavy Industrial. He was promoted to this role in May 2026 after previously serving as regional manager. As Vice President, Brian leads strategy, growth, and execution of complex mining and industrial construction projects while ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality outcomes for the clients Sundt serves. Brian currently serves on the Arizona Mining Association Board of Directors.

 

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and why?

I would choose the ability to see around corners. In construction, especially on complex mining and industrial projects, being able to anticipate challenges before they happen would help teams plan better, work safer, and deliver stronger outcomes.

 

Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?

I chose construction because I love the challenge of complex projects. Every project is different, and I enjoy bringing teams together to solve problems and build something meaningful.

 

Share a couple of your favorite hobbies.

I enjoy anything outdoors, especially hunting. I love big mountains, remote locations, and spending time in places that are quiet, rugged, and challenging
