TEMPE, Ariz. (September 24, 2026) – Sundt Construction has named Madhu Reddy as design manager for its Transportation Group, bringing more than 20 years of transportation engineering and project leadership experience to the company.
In his role, Madhu will provide technical guidance and leadership to internal teams and external consultants throughout design and construction, helping ensure projects align with Sundt’s commitment to project delivery excellence.
“Madhu brings a strong combination of technical expertise and project leadership to our Transportation Group,” said Shane Malkowski, engineering director. “His experience delivering complex design-build projects and his deep understanding of Arizona’s transportation infrastructure will be a valuable asset to our team and community.”
Before joining Sundt, Madhu spent more than eight years with TYLin leading design and program management efforts on major infrastructure projects. His experience includes the Arizona Department of Transportation’s $700 million I-10 Broadway Curve design-build project, San Francisco International Airport’s $11 billion capital improvement plan and the $300 million Los Angeles International Airport enabling project.
Prior to TYLin, Madhu spent more than 15 years with the Arizona Department of Transportation in various engineering and leadership roles where he worked on major projects including Loop 303 construction and improvements to I-17.
Madhu earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Mysore in India, along with a master’s degree in civil engineering and Executive MBA from Arizona State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a DBIA Professional Certification. His professional affiliations include DBIA and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
