Sundt Foundation Southern California Golf Tournament Raises $77,000 for Muscular Dystrophy Association

San Marcos, Calif. (July 02, 2026) – The Sundt Foundation raised $77,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association during its 20th Annual Southern California Charity Golf Tournament at Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos.

The sold-out tournament brought together 144 golfers to raise funds for MDA’s mission to support research, care, and advocacy for families living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and more than 300 other neuromuscular conditions.

“The Muscular Dystrophy Association is proud to partner with organizations like the Sundt Foundation that understand the importance of investing in stronger communities. The funds raised through this tournament help lay the foundation for a brighter future for people living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases—connecting families to critical resources, expert care, and a supportive community while advancing progress toward new treatments. We are grateful for everyone who made this event possible and for their commitment to helping people live longer, more independent lives,” said Ruth Ann Dailey, Chief Development Officer, Muscular Dystrophy Association.

“Supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association reflects the Sundt Foundation’s commitment to organizations that provide meaningful resources, care and opportunities for people and families facing serious health challenges. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s tournament a success,” said Emily Dwosh, Sundt Foundation executive director and Sundt community relations manager.

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is a leading nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of people through support services, advocacy, research and access to specialized care.

Since 1999, the Sundt Foundation has awarded more than $20 million through fundraising events and grants to organizations making a lasting impact in the communities where Sundt employees live and work.
