Sundt Foundation Raises $30,000 for Pima JTED at Annual Clay Shoot

TUCSON, Ariz. (April 16, 2026) – The Sundt Foundation hosted its 23rd Annual Tucson Charity Sporting Clay Fun Shoot on April 10 at Tucson Trap and Skeet. It was a sold-out event bringing together 100 participants to raise $30,000 in support of the Pima Joint Technical Education District (JTED).

Proceeds will benefit Pima JTED for the second consecutive year, supporting hands-on career and technical education programs that prepare Southern Arizona students for careers in the construction trades.

“On behalf of our instructors and the hundreds of students enrolled in our Construction Technologies programs across Southern Arizona, we’re incredibly grateful to the Sundt Foundation for this generous gift,” said Kathy Prather, Pima JTED superintendent and CEO. “Access to the right tools and hands-on training is essential for students preparing to enter the construction trades, and this support helps ensure they are workforce-ready from day one.”

“Supporting Pima JTED reflects the Sundt Foundation’s commitment to the communities where we live and work,” said Emily Dwosh, Sundt Foundation executive director and Sundt community relations manager. “Investing in these programs helps connect students to real opportunities in the construction trades and helps address significant workforce shortages in the industry.”

The Sundt Foundation supports nonprofits in the communities where Sundt Construction operates through fundraising events and quarterly grants. Since 1999, the Foundation has awarded more than $20 million to organizations making a lasting difference.
