BOISE, Idaho (June 4, 2026) – Sundt Construction and rPlus Energies have contributed a combined $11,000 to The Peregrine Fund to support raptor conservation, outreach and education efforts at the World Center for Birds of Prey campus in Boise, Idaho.
The contributions will support the nonprofit’s mission to conserve birds of prey through science, education and conservation action, benefiting outreach programs in Idaho and conservation initiatives impacting raptor species across five continents.
“Sundt Construction and rPlus Energies’ generous contributions directly support outreach and education efforts through The Peregrine Fund’s World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise, Idaho, and results in raptor conservation impact around the world,” said Peregrine Fund President & CEO Chris Parish. “On behalf of everyone here at TPF, we are deeply honored and grateful for their generosity.”
“Supporting organizations like The Peregrine Fund reflects our commitment to the communities and environments where we live and work,” said Emily Dwosh, Sundt community relations manager. “Their conservation and education efforts help protect raptor species and promote healthier ecosystems.”
For more than 50 years, the organization has advanced global raptor conservation through scientific research, education and recovery efforts that have helped restore Peregrine Falcons in North America and protect endangered bird species worldwide.
Sundt Construction has served as the EPC for three rPlus-developed projects in Ada County. This contribution reflects Sundt Construction and rPlus Energies’ shared commitment to supporting the communities where we build. In Ada County, rPlus-developed projects that are operating under construction, or contracted, represent nearly 1 gigawatt of energy capacity, all of which have been or are being built by Sundt.
About Peregrine Fund
For over 50 years, The Peregrine Fund (TPF) has worked to conserve birds of prey. Today, 56% of raptors are in decline globally, 32% are Threatened or Near Threatened, and 17 species are Critically Endangered, with a high risk of going extinct in the next 50 years. As top predators, birds of prey serve as indicators of ecosystem health while providing essential services like rodent control and disease prevention through carrion removal. We need raptors, and raptors need us. Together with global partners and supporters, TPF tackles threats such as pollution, deforestation, and human-wildlife conflict, in addition to expertise provided in science and conservation specific to birds of prey. The result is a better world for raptors and humans alike.
The Peregrine Fund relies on science to inform conservation actions that save species.
TPF repopulated a continent with Peregrine Falcons in just 30 years, doubled the population of Critically Endangered Ridgway’s Hawks in the Dominican Republic, and identified and addressed the cause of the Asian Vulture Crisis in the mid-2000s. Today, TPF works across five continents on behalf of all 561 raptor species.
