
IRVINE, Calif. (Jan. 30, 2026) – Sundt Construction announced the addition of Leif Johnson as project director for our California team.
Johnson will focus on client relationships and collaborating with design and subcontractor partners. He also will provide executive oversight and guidance to ongoing projects.
“Leif’s experience brings a unique perspective that will help us connect with new clients and subcontractors. We’re happy to have him on the team,” said Jim Householder, vice president and Irvine regional director.
Prior to Sundt, Johnson was the director of aviation and regional aviation executive with two other contractors. Johnson also worked as the project manager for Universal Studio’s Jurassic World and Super Nintendo Land/Mario Kart, helping bring the magic of the theme parks to life.
Johnson previously served on City of El Segundo’s Capital Improvement Committee, VICA Aviation Committee.
Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in business and communication from California State University, Long Beach.
