EL PASO, Texas. (September 08, 2025) – The inaugural Sundt Foundation’s West Texas Charity Golf Tournament raised $38,000 for Make-A-Wish North Texas, helping advance the organization’s mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Hosted on Sept. 3 at Coronado Country Club in El Paso, the tournament proceeds will help Make-A-Wish North Texas work toward reaching every eligible child throughout its 161-county territory.
“Bringing this tournament to El Paso created a new opportunity for our community to come together for a cause that has a lasting impact on children and families throughout the region,” said Emily Dwosh, Sundt Foundation executive director and Sundt community relations manager. “We are grateful to everyone who helped make the inaugural event such a success.”
“We are incredibly grateful to Sundt and everyone who participated in this year’s golf tournament for choosing to support Make-A-Wish and wish kids right here in El Paso,” said Malissa Arras, Senior Development Manager, Make-A-Wish El Paso. “The generosity shown throughout the tournament will help create life-changing experiences for local children and families when they need hope most. It was wonderful to see our community come together for a great day on the course and, most importantly, to help make more wishes possible for El Paso kids.”
Through the Sundt Foundation and other corporate giving efforts, Sundt has committed to donating $65 million to nonprofit organizations nationwide by 2035. The Sundt Foundation awards grants on a quarterly cycle. Organizations are selected through an application and review process, overseen by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
