Sundt Raises Over $200,000 For St. Mary’s Food Bank

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Nov. 26, 2025) – Sundt Construction raised $205,800 through the company’s annual St. Mary’s Food Bank Holiday Fundraiser, marking the highest total ever raised by the Tempe-based general contractor for its annual St. Mary’s fundraiser. The total of $205,800 equates to one million meals distributed in our community.

Employee-owners generously donated, and Sundt matched contributions dollar-for-dollar. The campaign supports St. Mary’s mission to provide meals for Arizona families facing hunger this holiday season.

“Our employee-owners care deeply about supporting our neighbors, especially during the holidays. That’s why we’re honored to partner with St. Mary’s Food Bank, a trusted organization that has been fighting hunger for decades. This annual fundraiser highlights our shared commitment to strengthening and supporting communities throughout Arizona,” said Emily Dwosh, Sundt Foundation executive director and Sundt community relations manager.

“Sundt Construction has been a long-time partner with St. Mary’s and this year’s donation is a great example of their dedication to the fight against hunger,” Food Bank President and CEO Milt Liu said. “This 2025 donation will allow St. Mary’s to distribute enough food to provide one million meals to our neighbors in need during this holiday season. We so appreciate Sundt and their generous employees and vow to be great stewards of this amazing gift.”

A total of 75 Sundt employee-owners volunteered at St. Mary’s Food Bank on Tuesday in Phoenix to distribute turkeys and holiday meals to families in need. The event marked the culmination of the company’s annual fundraising campaign, bringing employee-owners together to give back during one of the busiest seasons for food banks in Arizona.

Since 2006, the Sundt Foundation has partnered with St. Mary’s Food Bank to fight food insecurity in Arizona, contributing more than $800,000. The annual fundraiser, launched in 2017 under former CEO and Executive Chairman Mike Hoover, has become one of Sundt’s most meaningful giving traditions.

The Sundt Foundation is supported by donations from Sundt’s employee-owners and matching contributions from the company. Since its founding, the Foundation has distributed more than $18 million in grants to nonprofit organizations in the communities where Sundt operates.
