Salt Lake City, Utah (June 26, 2025) — Sundt recently added Preconstruction Project Manager Joe Padon and Field Engineer Duncan MacGregor to its Transportation Group.
Padon will be estimating and managing the structures portion of Sundt’s transportation projects throughout the region. His expertise will support the company’s growth as it delivers complex infrastructure projects across Utah and Idaho.
Padon brings over 22 years of heavy civil construction experience to Sundt. Throughout his career, he has led the pursuit and execution of numerous large-scale infrastructure projects across the country. Padon played a key role in the success of the $1.6 billion I-820 project in Fort Worth, Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
MacGregor, a recent graduate of Boise State University, has hands-on experience in both vertical and infrastructure construction. MacGregor is assigned to the ITD I-15 Widening, Northgate to South Hall project in Idaho. He
For more than two decades, Sundt has expanded and improved critical infrastructure in the region. Currently, Sundt is working on the new $528 million Water Reclamation Facility for the Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities and has multiple highway projects in progress for the Idaho Transportation Department.
