Habitat For Humanity Tucson Awarded $75,000

Proceeds from the Sundt Foundation Charity Golf Tournament will support nonprofit’s mission to expand affordable housing in Southern Arizona.

TUCSON, Ariz. (Month Day, 2025)The Sundt Foundation hosted its 24th annual Tucson Charity Golf Tournament, raising $75,000 to benefit Habitat for Humanity Tucson. The event brought together community partners and subcontractors for a day of golf and giving, supporting affordable housing efforts across Southern Arizona.

The funds from the tournament will directly support Habitat for Humanity Tucson’s mission to build and repair homes for families in need, helping create strong, stable, and healthy communities.

“On behalf of everyone at Habitat for Humanity Tucson, I extend our deepest gratitude to Sundt for their incredible generosity in hosting this tournament and selecting us as the beneficiary,” said Charlie Buchanan, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Tucson. “Sundt has been a foundational partner working alongside our mission for decades, and we are honored to have their leadership further build impact with Habitat through this tournament. This partnership is a powerful example of how our missions align—Sundt builds the infrastructure of our city, and together, we are building the foundation of our community: strong, stable, and healthy families. It is through bold collaborations and working together that we can ensure every family in Tucson has the opportunity to thrive in a safe and affordable home they can be proud of.”

The annual tournament is one of the Sundt Foundation’s key fundraising events, bringing together employees, sponsors, and community members to make a tangible difference in local lives.

“We are thrilled to partner with Habitat for Humanity Tucson, an organization whose values so closely reflect Sundt’s own commitment to building communities and creating opportunities,” said Emily Dwosh, executive director of the Sundt Foundation and Sundt community relations manager. “Each year, our golf tournament celebrates the power of teamwork and generosity, and we’re proud that the proceeds will help Habitat continue their vital work in Southern Arizona.”

The Sundt Foundation hosts fundraising events in seven cities throughout the year to support community nonprofits. Through events and its quarterly grants program, the Foundation has awarded over $18 million to nonprofits since 1999.
