IRVING, Texas (March 25, 2024) – Sundt Construction recently began work on segments 2 and 3 of the City of Lewisville’s Corporate Drive.
“It’s exciting to proceed with this critical project the City of Lewisville has been planning for over a decade,” said Sundt Transportation Project Director Kevin Graf. “Once this project and future segments 4 and 5 are completed, the city will have a continuous east-west thoroughfare.”
Sundt’s Transportation Group will extend Corporate Drive from Railroad Street towards Huffines Boulevard as a four-lane divided roadway. The scope includes one 178-foot-long channel bridge and a 2,010-foot-long bridge that will span the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and the 100-year floodway. The project team will also construct 6,000 feet of concrete paved roadway, sidewalk and trail improvements, and provide drainage and water improvements. The project is anticipated to take just over two years to complete.
Sundt is currently completing the City of Lewisville Windhaven Parkway project and is currently working on multiple projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The company has over 50 years and $3 billion of project work throughout Texas, with offices in Dallas, San Antonio and El Paso.
