What movie or television character do you relate to most and why?
New Yankee Workshop (no longer a TV show). I was inspired by Norm Abram and his woodworking. So much so that I bought mesquite wood at the same place he did for a grandfather clock he made on one of the episodes. In general I like any shows that cover engineering topics.
Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?
I chose to work in the water and wastewater industry when I was 20 years old. I knew water (including high quality water) would become more of a commodity than a general resource. I have worked in design, equipment supply, and operations for water and wastewater systems. At this point in my career, I felt the most value I provided was taking all these experiences to a construction company that excels in the field of water and wastewater treatment.
Share a couple of your favorite hobbies.
I spend most of my spare time woodworking and building furniture. When it is too hot in the summer to do that, I work with Creator tools (Laser engraver, 3D printing, DTF printing) to make things. I am a tinkerer and love to fix things.
What is your favorite place in the world?
Anywhere there is a beach. Lately that has been Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I have great adventures both on and off the water there that I will remember forever.
