Tell us about your favorite Sundt project.

My favorite Sundt project was the ADOT Loop 101 HOV Widening D-B project. I was involved from the pursuit of the project with the development of the design and schedule all the way through the project closeout. When you look at how much work we designed and built in nine months, I am extremely proud of what we accomplished.

Why did you choose to work in the construction industry?

Growing up, I was always drawn to math and science in school, and I loved being outdoors. This led me to look for a career where I could combine those interests, which led me to civil engineering. Pretty quickly I decided that I wouldn’t be able to sit in an office every day, so I was drawn to the construction management side. I have worked in the industry ever since!

Share a couple of your favorite hobbies.

Travelling and seeing new parts of the country with my family. I also enjoy working on home renovation projects and golfing when I can find the time.
