SACRAMENTO (January 24, 2024) – The Sundt Foundation distributed $13,000 in grants to three nonprofit organizations: Kiwanis Club of Lincoln Foothills Foundation, California Care Force and The Feather House Foundation.

“The generosity of our dedicated employee-owners never fails to inspire,” said Erica Gibbs, the Sundt Foundation Sacramento region board member. “Their contributions enable us to fund impactful organizations like the Kiwanis Club, California Care Force and The Feather House Foundation, which all offer essential support for our community’s well-being.”

The Kiwanis Club of Lincoln Foothills Foundation received a grant of $2,000. The funds will help provide much needed healthcare screenings such as dental, vision, scoliosis, etc. to underprivileged children in Lincoln, California.

California Care Force received $10,000. These funds will support the organization’s endeavors in collaborating with community partners to provide no-cost medical care to those in need. California Care Force also ensures continuity of care by helping patients establish a dental, vision and/or medical home for ongoing preventive healthcare.

The Feather House Foundation received $1,000 to assist emancipating foster youth in Alameda County in their transitions to independent living. This grant will go towards purchasing furniture and necessities to help kickstart the next chapter of their lives.

The Sundt Foundation remains dedicated to making a positive impact on communities through its quarterly grant program. Organizations are selected through an application and review process, overseen by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
