Sundt Distributes Over $18,000 in Grants to Northwest Nonprofits

Sundt Employees donate $5,000 to the Northwest region

 

Funds will be used to help families and children in need.

 

Portland, Oregon (April, 24 2023) – The Sundt Foundation recently awarded $18,400 in grants to four Northwest charities.

“Congratulations to the nonprofits on receiving grants this quarter,” said Ken Kubacki, Sundt Foundation regional board member and Sundt Construction Area Manager. “These nonprofits are doing an excellent job at helping the underserved communities and local families facing hardships and we are happy to contribute to their initiatives.”

With Love Oregon offers dignity, hope, and support to foster families in Portland, Oregon, and was granted $5,000 to power its initiatives in the community.

Latino Network is a Latino-led education organization, grounded in culturally specific practices and services, to lift youth and families to reach their full potential. The organization was presented with $5,000 to foster positive cultural identity and academic success in students.

Family Building Blocks is a relief nursery that partners with families facing multiple stressors while raising young children (prenatal through age five) in Marion and Polk counties. The nonprofit was awarded a $5,000 grant to help with its mission of keeping children safe and families together.

D31 Foundation received a $3,400 grant to support its work in serving the local community through events and service projects that build relationships and brings hope.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Northwest charities that support families and children in need. Nonprofits are selected through an application and review process led by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
