Sundt Foundation Donates Over $18,000 to San Diego Charities

 |  Press Release, Sundt People

SAN DIEGO (January 18, 2023) – The Sundt Foundation recently awarded $18,100 in grants to four San Diego-area charities. Operation Homefront, Make-A-Wish San Diego, UPLIFT San Diego and Alpha Project for the Homeless all received grants to help aid their causes.

“Supporting our community each quarter is an experience we are all grateful for,” said Ryan Nessen, the Sundt Foundation’s San Diego region board member. “These four organizations do great things and we are looking forward to seeing them continue.”

Operation Homefront will use its grant to continue to build strong, stable and secure military families through short-term financial assistance, long-term stability and recurring family support.

With its grant funding, Make-A-Wish San Diego will help grant the wishes of local children who have been recently diagnosed with critical illnesses.

UPLIFT San Diego will use its grant funding to continue to provide free services to the local San Diego community, housing the homeless and academically advance low-income students.

Alpha Project for the Homeless will use its funding to continue to provide work, recovery, housing and support services to the disadvantaged in the San Diego community.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local San Diego-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application and review process led by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
