 |  Press Release, Sundt Foundation

DALLAS (December 16, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded grants to four nonprofit organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area during its latest round of giving. BridgesWork, Pine Trees Counseling Center, Unbound North Texas and Communities in Schools of North Texas will all use their grants to continue to pursue their visions.

“We are so happy to award grants to these organizations,” said Barbara Terry, the Sundt Foundation’s North Texas region board member. “It is such a special opportunity to give back to our community and we are all excited to see the change they will make.”

BridgesWork will use its grant to continue to fund their school-year and summer programs that help children build bridges to successful futures.

With their grant, Pine Trees Counseling Center will continue to provide services to veterans, first responders and their families with therapy services that quiet the mind and heal traumas with a feeling of tranquility.

Unbound North Texas provides support and resources to survivors of human trafficking and aims to educate the community to fight and end human trafficking.

Communities in Schools of North Texas will use its grant to continue connecting caring adults and community resources to at-risk students in North Texas.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local North Texas-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application and view process led by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
