SALT LAKE CITY (September 16, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $8,000 to two nonprofits during its current giving round. Eye Care 4 Kids received $4,500 and Seager Memorial Clinic received $3,500 in grant funds for their causes.

“Both nonprofits are helping and fulfilling the needs of our community,” said Jasen Bennie, the Sundt Foundation’s Salt Lake City region board member. “It’s very rewarding for Sundt employee-owners in Salt Lake City to be able to come together to support such important local causes.”Landscape shot of mountains and a Sundt truck at a job site.

Eye Care 4 Kids will use the grant to support its Catch the Vision Utah, an ongoing effort to deliver professional eye care to low-income children across the state. The eyewear package includes new frames with polycarbonate, scratch-resistant corrective lenses, UV coating and a soft case.

Seager Memorial Clinic provides judgment-free, high-quality medical care and medications for free. With the grant, the clinic can continue to provide care for the community and help those who financially would not be able to afford medical care otherwise.

The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Salt Lake City-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
