Sundt Transportation Hires Three in Dallas

DALLAS (July 27, 2022) – Sundt Construction recently added Tammam Nashad, Ron Schenk and Ian Gawin to its Dallas office.

“Tammam, Ron and Ian are an excellent fit on our team and will nicely adjust to their new roles.” said Joe Dooley, senior vice president and Texas regional manager for the Transportation Group.

Nashad and Schenk will join the Windhaven Parkway project in Lewisville, Texas. Nashad will serve as the project manager and Schenk as the project superintendent.  Nashad graduated from the University of Central Florida with a master’s degree in civil engineering and has six years of experience as a project engineer. Schenk has over 20 years of construction experience and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Cincinnati.

Gawin is returning to Sundt after serving as a field engineer intern last summer for the company. As a field engineer, he will join the Traylor-Sundt joint venture tunnel and pipeline project near Athens, Texas. He graduated from Northern Arizona University in May with a bachelor’s degree in construction management.

In Texas, Sundt has 50 years and over $3 billion of project experience, with offices in San Antonio, Dallas and El Paso. The company is currently working on numerous projects across North and Central Texas, including its joint venture tunnel and pipeline project with Traylor near Athens, Texas and its work north of the Metroplex on the Windhaven Parkway project in Lewisville. Earlier this year, the company and its joint venture team started the 183 North Mobility project in Austin.
