SALT LAKE CITY (June 1, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $5,000 to Women of the World during its current giving round. The organization provides support in numerous ways to meet the needs of women in the Salt Lake City area.
“Women of the World is creating opportunities for women to succeed in our community,” said Jasen Bennie, the Sundt Foundation’s Salt Lake City region board member. “They are very deserving of this grant, and we are grateful to be part of their efforts in positively impacting the lives of disadvantaged women in our area.
Women of the World helps displaced women make Salt Lake City their home and empowers them to achieve independence and economic success. Through the Sundt Foundation, the organization can continue its mission and provide services to refugee and asylum-seeking women.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Salt Lake City-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
