PHOENIX (March 7, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $86,000 to 16 nonprofits in the Phoenix area during its current giving round.
“Every single one of these organization deserves their grant,” said Cathie Gabriel, the Sundt Foundation’s Phoenix region board member. “We are grateful to be able to help and highlight their efforts. It is a very special opportunity for all of our employee-owners to see the difference that our company can make.”
Those nonprofits receiving grants include the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual & Domestic Violence, Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation, Arizona Friends of the Homeless, the Arizona Humane Society, Aster Aging, Caring Coalition Arizona, Crowd to Community, Furnishing Dignity, PV Community Food Bank, Helen’s Hope Chest, Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health, the Opportunity Tree, the Phoenix Rescue Mission, Southern Arizona Association of the Visually Impaired, Stand for Children Leadership Center and the Tempe Community Council.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local Phoenix-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
